Ausschreibung für den GROSSEN LIEDPREIS VON HIDALGO (Publikums- und Jurypreis)

Wir suchen Lied-Duos für einen neuen Wettbewerb beim Münchner HIDALGO Festival für junge Klassik. Als Teilnehmer*innen erwarten euch ein spannendes Konzertformat, eine hochkarätige Jury und attraktiv dotierte Jury- und Publikumspreise.

Wir rufen Lied-Duos aus allen Bereichen auf, am Großen Liedpreis von HIDALGO in München teilzunehmen! Den Wettbewerb veranstalten wir im Rahmen des diesjährigen HIDALGO Festival für junge Klassik am 19.10.2023 um 20 Uhr. 

Den Großen Liedpreis von HIDALGO richten wir 2023 zum zweiten Mal in dieser Form aus. Er soll eine Bühne für Lied-Duos sein, die ihr Können zeigen wollen und gleichzeitig Lust haben, einen Abend in lockerer Atmosphäre zu verbringen. Euch erwarten ein künstlerischer Wettstreit, Vielfalt und ganz viel Spaß! Wir wollen höchste musikalische Qualität mit einem spannenden Konzert- und Wettbewerbsformat verbinden.

Als Kandidat*innen tretet ihr gegen andere Lied-Duos an. Dem Publikum liefert ihr durch eure Beiträge ein Best of der Liedkunst im Schnelldurchlauf. Eure Performances bewerten die Zuschauer*innen durch ihren Applaus. Darüber hinaus könnt ihr auch unsere hochkarätig besetzte Jury überzeugen: Am Ende werden ein Jurypreis und ein Publikumspreis vergeben. 

Der Wettbewerb steht wie auch unser diesjähriges Festival unter dem Motto „Mensch Maschine“. Wir wollen mit euch und den Mitteln der Kunst erforschen, welche Bedeutung, Chancen und Risiken Algorithmen und Künstliche Intelligenz für unser Mensch-Sein haben. Wir freuen uns auf eure Programmvorschläge zum Motto!

Jurypreis: 2.000 Euro für den 1. Platz
Publikumspreis: 2.000 Euro für den 1. Platz
Veranstaltungsdatum: 19.10.2023, 20:00 Uhr, Halle E im Gasteig HP8 München 

Bewerbungsunterlagen:  

• Programmvorschlag (ein maximal 5-minütiges Programm für die Vorrunde und ein 8-10 minütiges Programm für das Finale)
• kurzer Text (maximal 1000 Zeichen mit Leerzeichen) zur Begründung der Programmauswahl 
• Künstlerischer Lebenslauf 
• Kurzbiografien der Duo-Partner*innen (jeweils 350 Zeichen mit Leerzeichen) 
• Porträtfotos (einzeln inkl. Creditangabe) 
• Videoaufnahmen: 3 Lieder mit einer Länge zwischen 3 und 5 Minuten, davon mindestens zwei mit ungeschnittenem Video (per Link)

Open Call for Lied Duos – the Grand Lied Prix of HIDALGO (Audience/Jury Prize) 

We are looking for Lied duos for the Grand Lied Prix of HIDALGO festival for young classical music. As participants, you can expect an exciting concert format, a top-class jury and attractive prizes in jury and audience categories.

We are calling for Lied duos from all fields to take part in the Grand Lied Prix of HIDALGO in Munich! We will hold the competition as part of this year’s HIDALGO festival for young classical music on the 19th of October 2023 at 8pm. 

The Grand Lied Prix of HIDALGO will be held in this form for the second time. It is intended to be a stage for Lied duos who want to showcase their skills while spending an evening in a relaxed atmosphere. You can expect artistic competition and lots of fun! We want to combine the highest musical quality with an exciting concert and competition format. 

As contestants, you will compete against other Lied duos in an elimination contest. Your contributions will provide the audience with a fast-paced best of Lied. The audience will evaluate your performances with their applause. In addition, you can also convince our top-class jury: at the end, a jury prize and an audience prize will be awarded. 

Like this year’s festival, the motto of the competition is „Mensch Maschine“. We want to explore the possibilities of sustainable reprocessing and (re)use through and in art with you. We are looking forward to your thematic program proposals!

1. Programme proposal (a maximum 5-minute programme for the preliminary round and an 8-10 minute programme for the final)
2. short text (maximum 1000 characters with spaces) explaining the choice of program  
3. artistic curriculum vitae  
4. short biographies of the duo partners (350 characters each with spaces)  
5. Portrait photos (singleancl. credit information)  
6. Video recordings: 3 songs with a length between 3 and 5 minutes, at least two of them with uncut video (via link)
