The
Arcis Saxophone
Quartet
is internationally renowned for its extraordinary concerts. The four highly likeable musicians cycle with us through Munich’s Kunstareal, have themselves wrapped in cling film and delivered back to the Pinakothek der Moderne in time for the final concert. Director Tom Wilmersdörffer explores the concept of “freedom” in four interventions with classical music, video art and performance – and you as an audience member can join in.

The open-air installation refers to the exhibition

“Into the Open”

of the Neue Sammlung in the Pinakothek der Moderne. The event is a cooperation between HIDALGO and the Kunstareal Munich, Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum and the Pinakothek of Modern Art.
