FINE DINING

YOU DESERVE IT!

Culinary performance with three singers

We have set the table lavishly and spared no expense. Come to our table, the best is not enough for us! We serve fine cuisine and exquisite wines. We’ll serve you from top to bottom in the Max Joseph Hall of the Munich Residence—if you’re lucky.

With a musical menu ranging from baroque to romantic, from Bach to Mahler, we will play a festive table music, performed by three singers. In this culinary performance, we celebrate abundance together. Because we have earned it. Or have we not?

With pieces from the coffee cantata “Schweigt stille, plaudert nicht” by Johann Sebastian Bach, “Das irdische Leben” by Gustav Mahler and the “Augsburger Tafelkonfekt” by Valentin Rathgeber.

Step inside our ballroom!

We welcome you to the festival finale in the Max-Joseph-Saal of the Munich Residenz—where our very first festival event PROMETHEUS/EPIMETHEUS took place in 2018.

FAQ: Will there really be something to eat?

Unfortunately, we can’t reveal too much in advance—the evening is all about our artists’ wishes and expectations: Who gets something, who gets nothing? There will be something to eat, but for whom?

We can’t guarantee anything, except that there will be a fantastic musical menu with three very strong singers. It should definitely be a unique art experience for everyone in the audience!

(A little tip: if there are several of you, we would advise you to plan to get a snack after the performance).

»A time-critical scenario of the past that reflects the present. With “Fine Dining”, the Hidalgo Festival once again proves its innovative approach to reinterpreting classical songs, even in stately settings.«
