It dissolves the boundaries between the digital world and sensory experience.<\/p>\n<p>The HIDALGO Kollektiv performs an installation for the Residenztheater Munich on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 4 to 8 pm. It is part of the event <a href=\"https:\/\/www.residenztheater.de\/stuecke\/detail\/resi-digital-auftakt-zur-neuen-sinnlichkeit\"><strong>&#8220;Resi digital: Neue Sinnlichkeit&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> at the Marstall. The interdisciplinary work combines sound art, light and spatial design as well as performance with technical elements such as projection mapping and sensor technology. At around 7.30 pm we will conclude the installation with a final performance.<\/p>\n<p>The HIDALGO Kollektiv creates an interactive vision: digitality and physical existence have merged into a higher existence in a new age. More than eight billion people no longer experience the world only through their own limited glasses. Instead, we can also see, hear, smell, taste and feel what other people experience. We perceive different lives and worlds in parallel.<\/p>\n<p>Between 4 and 8 pm, the HIDALGO installation can be experienced in the foyer of the Marstall. The final performance lasts around 15 minutes and starts at around 7.30 pm. Further installations by other artists and groups will be on display in the Marstall from 4pm. The focus here is on an aesthetic fusion of technological innovations with the versatile sensory levels of experience in the theater. If she loses, she has to give up her dream. We learn all this in a mini radio play that runs at the beginning of the BOX SALON. Singer Andromahi Raptis as Jenny and the evening&#8217;s pianist as her opponent compete against each other in an exhibition match. Jenny is knocked out &#8211; and has lost everything.<\/p>\n<p>A woman lies prostrate on the floor in the ring, thus beginning the musical part of the evening, a powerful one-woman show. Because Jenny gets up and fights on. Not against her opponent, because she won, but with herself. She cries, she screams, she throws everything away &#8211; and yet in the end she finds something like peace.<\/p>\n<p>The BOX-SALON deals with the grief that hits us when we have lost great things and a part of ourselves dies. Dealing with this usually takes place in five specific phases: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance of the situation. In this song production, we experience the grieving process through the songs of John Dowland and Kurt Weill.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;narrow&#8221;]On the surface, their very different works sometimes tell different frame stories, but behind the scenes they fit into the universal phases of coping with grief. The songs from the 16th and the first half of the 20th century touch us directly and give us an idea of how timelessly grief is perceived, lived through and processed. The audience sat on gym benches around the ring, between punching bags hanging from the ceiling.
